Ooo, what does this button do... (source)
Note by site-owner: Hey there WriMos! Today's guest at WRIMOS FTW! has prepared a very special surprise for us. Below is an infographic (#wheezomgsqueelovethose) made by Amy Leigh Strickland (@nimbuschick), which depicts all the things we need to sustain ourselves for the duration of NaNoWriMo. And boy, do I relate!
What's your NaNo pyramid like?
This is just wonderful. Hats off and thunderous applause.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had a lot of fun making it.
ReplyDeleteReally well done!
ReplyDeleteI love this!! With all the #NaNoWriMo prep I'm doing, I think I am most nervous that I don't have my music ready!!! I think I'll do that next!
ReplyDeleteNow that's my kind of pyramid! Great job! (Big kudos for recognizing the nutritional value of caffeine...hats off!) :D
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Trailerhead? Awesome music from trailers. <3
ReplyDeletePerfection. I love this pyramid and all of its contents. Though I have to say, while social media is a great tool for NaNoers, I think we can all agree that it is also a HUGE distraction. ;) I live on iTunes and Stationary--and occasionally real food.

Chocolate must be in the 'real food' category. That's awesome - it's just one step away from being nutritious, then.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, this is hilarious. Pandora, stationery, and (I *guess*) real food are high (or do I mean low...lol) on my personal NaNo pyramid--with funny cat videos trailing behind.
ReplyDeleteThis absolutely made my day, and it reminded me of how much coffee and tea I have to drink for the month of November.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of Trailerhead!! That sounds great! That will be part of my last minute cramming prep for when I wake up tomorrow! THANKS! For now, I sleep knowing tomorrow night I am NOT going to want to do that!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I don't drink coffee or soda or anything with caffeine in it! Must figure out a way to get caffeine into my system...
ReplyDeleteI know. I need to go buy more K-Cups for my Keurig today!
ReplyDeleteI like Pandora because you can add one or two songs that fit the character and then it will use those to find more like it. I do it for my series, Olympia Heights. I have 16 stations for my major characters and it's epic.
ReplyDeleteI would say that pretty much sums up writing a novel. Except when I wrote my novel over 2 days in August, I had movies like 'Man on Fire' and the Dirty Harry collection to keep me company (as opposed to cat videos, which would not have helped at all).
ReplyDeleteIt also fits the Caffeine category.
